Letters to Wal-Mart
Dear Mr. Scott:

Because of your support of the homosexual agenda and "same-sex marriage" through your membership in the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce and the many books you sell promoting the same, I have stopped shopping at Wal-Mart along with many others. I will encourage still others to do the same until you reverse your policy and return to the family-oriented values of founder Sam Walton. I and many others have been refraining from shopping at Wal-Mart since September and that is why you had such a slump in your October sales and until you reverse this policy I believe the slump will continue and probably get worse.

Sincerely,
Pastor Rick Barnard
Morris, IL

We are writing in receipt of your email regarding Wal-Mart's partnership with the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce.

"At Wal-Mart, we believe every individual is valued."  "As a business, our commitment is to welcome and to serve all customers with respect and without discrimination remains unchanged."

"Attracting customers from all segments of an increasingly diverse customer base is critical to our success. "

"Wal-Mart will always work to connect better with the customers we serve and our loyal workforce, including communities of faith."

"Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.'s commitment to nondiscrimination underscores our understanding of - and appreciation for - diversity, as well as the growth and influence of emerging consumer markets in the United States, including the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community."

"Working with the NGLCC, as we do with other minority enterprise leaders, is our way to help educate corporate America and the public as to the economic benefits of a diverse workplace and the power of creating mutually beneficial relationships with the LGBT and LGBT-friendly business community."

Customer Service at Walmart.com

Once my husband and I came back from our honeymoon, our first shopping trip was to Wal-Mart.  We knew that it was the best place to go for all our needs to start a new home and have continued to shop at Wal-Mart since.  I was extremely disturbed when I found out that the once family friendly store had chosen to link arms with The National Gay & Lesbian, Chamber of Commerce in the spirit of "nondiscrimination".  I have read material about the founder of Wal-Mart, Sam Walton and find it hard to believe that this once Christian owned company would support something so diabolical.  Because of Wal-Mart's recent actions our household will no longer be shopping at your store

Today's Quick Tip:
Take an old t-shirt, or buy a pack of undershirts at Wal-Mart, and make yourself a t-shirt that you can wear while you shop for posterboard and markers on Friday morning! Click here for an example.
